Preparation for estate planning includes dealing with post death processes. Being a Vietnam Era Veteran, I would want a Funeral Home to assist my wife and I with proper placement of our remains at a National Cemetery. We had talked with several Funeral Homes. From the moment we walked in we felt as comfortable as one could feel dealing with the loss of a loved one. They explained everything and walked us through the process completely and patiently. Besides one issue with the lack of communication with the medical examiners office over a weekend, everything has gone as smoothly as can be expected. I'm in the process of moving back to Texas and found myself in need of a pre-paid, pre-need direct cremation, so my family could be relieved of one extra burden after my passing.
After doing extensive research and talking to several cremation providers I found Lovestrong cremation center.
Shannon Thomas was very helpful and patient and guided me through the process.
What I had expected to be a traumatic experience turned out to be a very pleasant experience and I saved quite a bit of money compared to most of the other places I researched.
She even reached out to me after the contracts were signed and done to make sure that all of my questions had been answered and all of my concerns addressed. I appreciated that very much. I also appreciated that she did not try to high pressure me into buying extra stuff that I did not want, like some of the other places did.
While I can't comment on events following my death, I expect my family will be as pleased with Lovestrong as I am and will probably do a follow up review.

If we choose cremation, can we still have a viewing?

Absolutely! We think a viewing is very beneficial for families and allows them the time to say their final good-byes, as well as honor their loved one. This choice is completely up to you, and we will be here to help guide you every step of the way.

How do I know that I am receiving my loved ones cremated remains?

Cremation is a regulated process with strict procedures that we follow to ensure we are holding our services to the highest standard possible. In addition to following these procedures, we also provide unique and secure digital tracking once your loved one has been brought into our care as well as keep a metal disk with a unique ID number with your loved one throughout the process, including during cremation and until their return to you. We also provide Witness Cremation services which will allow you to view and receive your loved ones cremated remains within 2.5 hours.

Can I plan prior to passing if I or the person is wanting cremation?

Yes, you sure can. We offer pre-arranged cremation packages so that you can have the peace of mind to know that your final wishes are taken care of and not have to be a burden for the family that is left behind.

Where does the cremation take place?

Since we are a Funeral Home and Crematory all in one, all cremations take place onsite so you can be assured that your loved one will remain in our care at all times.

What can be done with cremated remains?

With cremation there are many options. Once the cremation has been completed, you may choose to have a Memorial Service to honor the loved one with family and friends, inter in a family plot or cemetery, scatter the cremated remains on private property, or at a place that was memorable and significant to the deceased. You may also bring your loved one home to keep them close.

What are the advantages of on onsite crematory?

With an onsite crematory, your loved one never leaves the premises of LoveStrong Cremation Center. This ensures a significant level of comfort, respect, and trust in the process. Your loved one is always under the care of LoveStrong’s professional staff.

What is an urn?

An urn is a vessel, or container, used to hold the cremated remains. A wide variety of urns are available to purchase through our inventory with materials such as porcelain, wood, metal and many others.

What if my family can’t decide on one place for the cremated remains?

An advantage of cremation is the flexibility it offers. When family members have more than one wish for a final resting place, LoveStrong Cremation Center can divide the cremated remains into more than one urn, keepsake, or jewelry.
